The Best Electric Toothbrush
Growing up, I had TERRIBLE teeth that grew in completely crooked, which was something I was really self-conscious about. I had braces for two years in middle school (seriously thank god for braces), and once I had them off, I could not wait to show off my straight teeth! Since then, I have been diligent about my oral routine, and make sure I brush my teeth two times daily, floss as much as possible (definitely still working on this!) and whiten my teeth a few times a year as well.A few weeks ago, Smile Brilliant sent me their new cariPRO Ultrasonic Toothbrush to test out. Incorporating this toothbrush into my morning and nightly routine has been so fun! It has five different settings: Clean, White, Massage, Gum Care, and Sensitive. Most often I use the Clean setting, which is the most standard mode, but I find does the best job! I like to use the White setting every other day, because I find it’s the most rigorous of the modes, which I love, but is too much to use daily. My teeth feel sooooo smooth after I use this setting! Massage and Gum Care are more of a pulsation, which I really like and really work well when you focus the brush along your gum line. The last mode is Sensitive, which is perfect for those who have sensitive teeth and gums as it’s a bit gentler.Probably my fav thing about this toothbrush, is that it has a built-in timer. I always thought I was brushing my teeth for about 2 minutes, but after using the cariPRO I realized I was not brushing for long enough! Every 30 seconds, the brush pauses the vibrations to signal you to move on to another quadrant of your mouth. Once you reach two minutes, the brush shuts off; this way, you are reaching the two-minute mark but not wasting battery. One of the things I love about this toothbrush is how long the charge lasts (they say up to 30 days!). I made sure it was fully charged right when I got it which was a few weeks ago and I haven’t had to recharge it yet! It’s also waterproof, which is super nice, especially if you’re one of those people who like to brush your teeth in the shower.Do you use a manual or electric toothbrush to brush your teeth? I used a manual toothbrush (which I thought did the job) until a few weeks ago, and now can’t see myself ever switching back! If you do not already use an electric toothbrush, I would highly recommend this one and if you already use an electric toothbrush, definitely look into upgrading!
